Session 1: Building a Relationship & Partnership

Session Goals:

  • Getting acquainted with each other & establishing our goals as kallah teachers

  • Exchanging resources

  • Arranging a curriculum & teaching style

  • Exploring the didactic structure of this course and a successful model for kallah classes

  • Planning and detailing the technicalities of teaching kallot

  • Getting acquainted with our kallot

When we want to connect with a kallah, we must consider where she is right now in life. What do we know about her stage? What do we remember about our being in that moment?

We’ll aspire to be there with the kallah, with empathy.

“The main thing is to keep the main thing, the main thing.”

Steven Covey, author of highly-acclaimed “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”

That’s essentially why we’re all here in this course and paying it forward to kallot, as we strive to serve HKBH His way in this most precious and sensitive area of life.
