Please note:

• While there are point values attached to the questions for the purpose of grading, this does not presume that there are objectively correct answers. In a similar vein, the content covered in this first assessment differs from the ones to follow and so does the structure of the assessment. (Many of the upcoming assessments will be multiple choice).
• As above, many questions are multiple choice and as such can be graded automatically thus immediately giving you feedback on your answers. Do not be alarmed when you receive 0 points for free-answer questions, this a placeholder until such time that your instructor sees your answers. At that time the points will be adjusted to reflect your work.
• All assessments are to be completed the week of the assignment. The assignments are “open-book”. A total average of 90% is necessary for certification.
• Any questions about teaching Kallot are phrased assuming you are/have been an active Kallah teacher. If you have yet to teach Kallot, please view those questions as asking, “When you are serving a Kallah teacher, how would you…”

We discussed the importance of a Kallah understanding that there is what to know about marriage and women’s health and hinted at the various fields that intersect at the corner of “women’s health” and “halacha”: relationships, mental health, sexuality, fertility.
